Role & responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall Cattle Feed sales and marketing strategy for the assigned zone/state.
- Own overall sales performance, revenue growth and achievement of business targets.
- Build, expand and strengthen the company's distributor, dealer and channel network.
- Develop territory-wise business plans and sales targets.
- Lead, guide and evaluate the sales hierarchy and ensure effective team performance.
- Drive primary and secondary sales and ensure healthy product movement across the market.
- Identify new markets, business opportunities and potential channel partners.
- Establish strong relationships with key distributors, dealers and major customers.
- Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, pricing and business opportunities.
- Review sales performance through MIS, forecasts and business reports and take corrective actions.
- Ensure effective market coverage, sales conversion and territory development.
- Monitor distributor outstanding, credit discipline and collection performance.
- Coordinate with production,



dispatch and accounts teams for smooth business operations.
- Develop and implement effective market-development and promotional strategies.
- Conduct regular business reviews with the sales team and management.
- Recruit, develop, coach and retain a high-performing sales team.
- Provide management with accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure disciplined implementation of company policies, pricing and sales processes.

Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate; MBA in Sales & Marketing / Business Management preferred.
- Relevant experience in the Animal Feed/Cattle Feed Industry is mandatory.
- Proven experience in senior-level sales and business management within the Animal Feed Industry.
- Solid practical understanding of Cattle Feed, Animal Nutrition and Animal Feed distribution.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
