Job Description – Stock Incharge

About the Role

Presidium School, GGN 57 is looking for a responsible and organized Stock Incharge to manage inventory, maintain accurate stock records, coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability of supplies for smooth school operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily receipt, storage and issue of school materials.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitor stock levels and raise requirements for replenishment.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for material requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Maintain proper documentation for receipts, issues, returns and transfers.
- Ensure systematic, safe and clean storage of all materials.
- Prepare periodic stock and consumption reports.
- Identify damaged,



obsolete or slow-moving stock and report the same.
- Support internal and annual stock audits.
- Ensure compliance with school inventory and procurement procedures.

Key Skills
- Strong inventory and stock management skills.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail.
- Good vendor coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements independently.
- Strong organisational skills and accountability.

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Operations or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in inventory, stores, procurement or administration.
- Experience in a school or educational institution will be preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory/ERP software will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
