- Build and manage solid relationships with domestic and international investment banks, advisors, global funds, restructuring desks, and other intermediaries to source proprietary and semi-proprietary deal opportunities globally.
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions (including greenfield projects), special situations, stressed/distressed assets, and financial restructuring opportunities across ports, logistics, transportation, and allied infrastructure sectors globally.
- Lead end-to-end deal structuring, including financial structuring (debt and equity) and tax structuring.
- Work closely with internal teams including Strategy, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Operations to ensure seamless deal execution.
- Manage cross-border due diligence, negotiations, transaction documentation, regulatory approvals, and deal closures with international stakeholders.
- Prepare investment notes, valuation models,
and Board/Investment Committee presentations.
- Track global sector trends, capital flows, and restructuring opportunities relevant to the organization’s growth agenda.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of M&A;, corporate finance, valuation, and transaction execution.
- Expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, and deal structuring.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing cross-border transactions and complex deal processes.
- CA or equivalent qualification from a reputed institution.
- Relevant experience in M&A;, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Infrastructure Investments, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory.
