Role Overview

We're looking for a field-based Business Development Executive to build KarunaiCare's referral network of doctors, clinics, and hospitals across Chennai. You'll independently manage a full pipeline of independent doctors, physiotherapists, and clinic owners — from first visit to working referral relationship. For larger hospital accounts, you'll identify the right contact and secure the meeting; our founders will join you for those conversations directly.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a target list of doctors, physiotherapists, and clinic owners across assigned Chennai zones — cold outreach, in-person visits, and follow-up, start to finish.
- Own independent clinic and solo-practitioner relationships end-to-end: first contact, meeting, referral agreement, ongoing follow-through.
- For hospital and institutional accounts: identify the right decision-maker,



secure the meeting, and prepare the briefing. Founders will attend these meetings with you.
- Run local community outreach — health camps, RWA events, pharmacy tie-ups — to build patient and caregiver awareness.
- Maintain a daily contact tracker: who you met, what was discussed, next steps, and current stage.
- Daily checkin and submit a weekly report on outreach volume, conversions, and blockers.
- Report field feedback — objections, competitor activity, referral expectations — directly to the founding team; this shapes pricing and product decisions.

Qualifications
- Comfortable with cold, in-person outreach — walking into a clinic without a warm introduction.
- Fluent in Tamil and English.
- 1–3 years of field sales or business development experience, any industry.
- Willing to travel across Chennai daily (up to 75% field time).
- Organized and self-directed — able to manage a 50+ contact p
