Qualification ;Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering(B.E. Mech) is mandatory.
Experience-2 5 years of relevant procurement experience in a manufacturing or fabrication workplace.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience in sourcing raw materials and components for manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of EN series steel,stainless steel,aluminium,and inch-size fasteners, and will work closely with suppliers, production, and quality teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of metals and mechanical components.
- Experience in sourcing EN series steels, SS, Aluminium, and inch-size fasteners is essential.
- Good knowledge of material standards, grades, and machining requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office, and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
