About the Role

MyPrivateTutor.net is looking for a smart, proactive and commercially minded Growth Specialist to join our Kolkata office.

This is an entry-level role focused on user engagement, product growth, customer servicing and revenue generation.

You will work closely with students, tutors, the product team and the development team to understand user needs, improve their experience on the platform and identify opportunities to increase engagement and revenue.

This is not a digital marketing role.

Key Responsibilities

User Engagement & Servicing
- Interact with registered tutors, students and parents to understand their requirements and problems.
- Assist users with registration, profile completion, tuition inquiries, applications and other platform features.
- Follow up with new and inactive users to improve engagement.
- Identify common user problems and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve them.




- Collect user feedback and convert it into actionable suggestions.

Revenue & Conversion
- Understand our membership, subscription and other paid offerings.
- Identify potential users who can be converted into paying customers.
- Follow up with interested users and assist them through the purchase process.
- Work on improving free-to-paid conversion.
- Re-engage expired and inactive paid users.
- Experiment with different offers, messages and follow-up approaches.
- Track which activities are generating actual revenue.

Product Growth & Experiments
- Study how users interact with different areas of the portal.
- Identify friction points affecting registration, engagement and purchase.
- Suggest improvements to onboarding, dashboards, profile pages, tuition applications, pricing pages and other user journeys.
- Work with product and development teams to implement growth ideas.
- Participate in A/B tests and other product experime
