Roles and Responsibilities :
- Role:

1. Process Owner – from RM IN to FG OUT till Customer Delivery (including BOP & Job Work)
2. Defines Line Layout, Process Layout (as per defined PFD)
3. Plans Material Flow – from RM IN to FG OUT till Customer Delivery (including BOP & Job Work)
4. Should be well versed with Lean Mfg. Approach
5. Develop manufacturing processes for Press Shop, Weld Shop, Assembly, and Dispatch.
6. Ensures Line Balancing (load levelling) in terms Cycle Time & Workforce (for current as well as existing products)
7. Material movement planning, development & standardisation (bins, trolleys, chuters etc)
8. Conducts Gemba reviews to identify imbalance thus eliminates Mura, Muri, Muda
9.



Scope identification & implementation of Low-Cost Automation along with pay-back calculation
10. Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, Poka-Yoke, and 5S initiatives.
11. Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies during RFQ.
12. Production Flow, Process Safety & Visual Control
13. Prepare Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Plant Layout, Line Layout, Material Flow, and Value Stream Mapping. AutoCAD/Layout Planning
14. Optimize cycle time, takt time, line balancing, and manpower deployment.
15. SMED, Poka-Yoke, Work Cell Review
16. Well versed with MS-office & awareness of CAD software’s (UGNX. Catia)
