Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Officer to manage the procurement of construction materials, tools, equipment, and other project requirements. Freshers with good communication and negotiation skills are welcome to apply. Candidates with prior purchase/procurement experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of civil and construction materials.
- Source materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, bricks, blocks, plumbing, electrical, hardware, and other site requirements.
- Identify and coordinate with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Collect and compare quotations from different suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain purchase records.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams regarding material requirements.




- Follow up with vendors and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Check material quantity, quality, and specifications.
- Maintain vendor details, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and other purchase documents.
- Coordinate with the accounts team regarding purchase bills and payments.
- Monitor pending orders and follow up regularly.
- Assist in maintaining purchase expenses within the approved budget.
- Handle urgent material requirements for project sites.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction and building materials.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Valuable coordination and follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to compare quotations and maintain purchase records.
- Willingness to learn construction procurement processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
