Proposal Engineer STP/ETP

Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Proposal Engineer with experience in Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive techno-commercial proposals by understanding client requirements, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring all technical and commercial parameters are optimized and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyse customer RFQs and project requirements to prepare tailored techno-commercial proposals for STP/ETP projects.

· Collaborate with the procurement team to get updated pricing and lead times for key equipment and materials.

· Identify and communicate technical assumptions, exclusions, and clarifications within proposals.

· Design cost-effective and energy-efficient treatment solutions by selecting the right equipment and process configuration.

· Maintain comprehensive proposal documentation, including costing sheets, technical submissions,



and post-order documentation.

· Interact with clients to resolve technical queries during the bidding and post-order phases.

· Coordinate proposal timelines to meet submission deadlines and ensure internal review processes are completed.

· Provide technical support and handover guidance to the project execution teams after order finalization.

Qualifications:

· Education: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.

· Experience: Prior experience in preparing proposals for water/wastewater treatment projects is essential.

· Robust understanding of STP and ETP process design and equipment selection.

· Proficient in cost estimation, technical documentation, and project coordination.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Familiarity with relevant design standards, environmental regulations, and energy optimization practices.
