Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger (GL) accounting and journal entries.
- Perform bank, balance-sheet, intercompany, and account reconciliations.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Review accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare accruals, provisions, prepayments, and fixed-asset schedules.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Analyze financial data and explain significant variances to management.
- Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
