Design and implement interactive curricula for high school social science courses (e.g., World History, U.S. History, or AP electives).
Mentor students through annual major research projects, historical inquiry, and synthesis of complex primary/secondary sources.
Utilize diverse, effective assessment strategies to monitor individual growth and adapt instruction to meet varying student needs.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in History, Social Science, Education,



or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of secondary classroom teaching experience, preferably within an independent school setting.
Subject Expertise: Strong background in social science concepts, research methodologies, and AP-level coursework instruction.
Tech & Pedagogy: Proficiency in integrating educational technology, learning management systems (LMS), and project-based learning models.
