About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can turn raw cooking footage into engaging, visually appealing short-form content for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw cooking videos into engaging short-form videos/reels.
- Create videos with strong hooks, smooth transitions, and engaging pacing.
- Add text overlays, captions, subtitles, music, sound effects, and other relevant elements.
- Select the best shots and structure recipes in a transparent, easy-to-follow format.
- Optimize videos for Instagram and YouTube formats, including 9:16 vertical videos.
- Maintain a consistent visual style, branding, and quality across all content.
- Stay updated with current social media editing styles, trends, sounds, and reel formats.
- Work with the content/creative team to understand video concepts and deliver edits within deadlines.
- Make revisions based on feedback when required.
Requirements
- Experience in video editing, preferably for food, cooking, lifestyle, or social media content.
- Proficiency in editing tools
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to make food look visually appealing through effective cuts, transitions, color correction, and sound design.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple videos and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience creating viral/engaging short-form content.
- Basic knowledge of color grading and sound editing.
- Understanding of social media analytics and what makes cooking content engaging.
- A portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous editing work.

Someone who can take raw cooking footage and transform it into polished, engaging, scroll-stopping content that makes viewers want to watch, save, and try the recipe.
Pay: ₹2,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
