Role Description
The Workday HCM – Compensation & Benefits role is a remote contract position focused on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Workday HCM compensation and perks modules. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating compensation structures, supporting annual compensation planning cycles, and ensuring accurate setup of benefits plans and eligibility rules in Workday. The role involves performing job evaluations, running audits and analytical reports, troubleshooting issues, and partnering with HR, finance, and technology teams to translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations. The individual in this role will also support testing activities, document processes,



and contribute to continuous improvement of compensation and benefits practices within the Workday ecosystem.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in compensation planning and compensation management to support merit, bonus, and other compensation cycles in Workday.
- Experience with job evaluation and compensation structures to align roles, grades, and pay ranges with organizational policies.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret data, build reports, and provide insights that support compensation and benefits decisions.
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday HCM, specifically compensation and benefits modules.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and documentation best practices.
