Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Security Engineer to drive secure software development practices across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in OWASP and SAST, along with development experience in Java OR Python OR .Net OR Angular OR Golang. This role involves identifying and remediating software security vulnerabilities, advising development teams on secure design practices, and integrating security into the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform application security assessments and identify vulnerabilities using SAST methodologies and tools.
- Apply OWASP principles and industry best practices to improve application security posture.
- Advise development teams on secure coding standards and secure application design practices.
- Review, analyze, and support remediation of software security defects across applications and services.
- Work with development teams building solutions in Java OR Python OR .Net OR Angular OR Golang based on project requirements.
- Support the integration of security testing into development pipelines.
- Conduct security reviews for web applications, web services, and service-oriented architectures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document findings, risks, and remediation recommendations.
- Utilize Git-based development workflows while supporting secure software delivery practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of application security processes and standards.
