We are seeking an experienced DBA Manager to lead our database administration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Oracle 19c database environments, with proven expertise in performance tuning, scripting, backup and recovery, and managing multitenant architectures. This leadership role requires a hands-on manager who can drive operational excellence, mentor team members, and ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the database administration team, setting goals, priorities, and development plans.
- Coordinate delivery of Support Services to meet customer goals and objectives.
- Oversee installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance of Oracle 19c environments.
- Managing the budget and resources, allocating tasks to team members, and ensuring projects stay on track.
- Oversee Core DBA activities, upgrades, and installations.
- Communicating with stakeholders to keep everyone informed about progress
- Maintaining positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Assessing customer feedback and making improvements.
- Following deadlines and organizing review meetings.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to align database solutions with business needs.
- Establish and enforce database security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.
- Monitor, analyze, and report database health, ensuring systems meet high availability and performance standards.
- Provide support for critical database incidents, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.




- Keep up to date with emerging database technologies and recommend improvements.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle 19c database administration.
- Hands-on expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Knowledge in scripting languages: Shell, Python, Bash.
- In-depth experience with patching Oracle databases.
- Hands-on experience managing Multitenant Architectures (CDB/PDB).
- Expert-level knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN.
- Solid understanding of database security practices and standards.
