Roles & Responsibilities:

Carbon Farming & Project Implementation

- Develop and implement carbon farming projects aligned with Puroearth, Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), or similar protocols.
- Collaborate with FPOs, NGOs, and government bodies to scale carbon and biochar initiatives.
- Monitor and document GHG reductions and soil carbon improvements for carbon credit validation.

Biochar & Soil Nutrition Development

- Design enriched biochar blends using FOM, vermicompost, and other organic inputs for diverse crop plantations.
- Lead formulation of biochar-based soil nutrition/fertilizers (organic, inorganic, and compound).
- Conduct field trials to evaluate biochar impacts on soil fertility, carbon sequestration, and crop yield.

Process & SOP Development

- Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for biochar application, FOM, and energy plantations across cropping systems.
- Support digital MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) using GIS and remote sensing tools.

Capacity Building & Knowledge Sharing

- Provide training to farmers and field staff on biochar production, application, and fertilizer use.
- Prepare technical reports, policy briefs, and contribute to scientific publications.
