We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation with a strong background in automation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Possess excellent practical knowledge of programming and test automation tools (Selenium, Java, TestNG & Cucumber).
- Ability to create automation frameworks from scratch.
- Good knowledge of SAAS products along with deep knowledge of microservices and Kafka log reading.
- Practical knowledge of testing APIs with Postman Tools and SOAP UI.
- Experience with testing Rest Assured APIs.
- Hands-on experience in Java with good logic and coding skills.
- Document defects/bugs and enhancement requests, and assist development with concise and detailed steps for duplication of problems found during manual functional, integration, and regression tests.
- Experience with testing Web, Desktop applications, Databases, Web APIs and services, and hands-on experience in Black Box Testing.
- Perform test analysis on assigned user stories, review acceptance criteria, and contribute to the completeness of user stories in collaboration with the product owner.
- Assist with troubleshooting production-level issues, behaviors, and potential problems/defects.
- Experience managing multiple environments (QA env and production sanity) with the help of automation scripts.
- Take complete responsibility/accountability for assigned work/tasks/jobs and follow testing standards and policies set by the team.




- Assist fellow agile team members and customers with problem reporting and resolution, maintaining appropriate follow-up & communications throughout the defect resolution process.
- Contribute to QA Story points estimation and test scheduling process.
- Create high-level test flows/procedures with clearly defined test objectives.
- Work closely with the development staff to ensure that issues/defects are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Participate in all SCRUM events, including Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, daily stand-up, and Sprint Review.
- Participate in Deployment Testing exercises as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Expertise with tools like JIRA for Defect / Test Management.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and across departments.
