Position: State Financial Controller - Maharashtra Location: Supa, Ahmednagar Areas covered: North Maharashtra, South Maharashtra, Central Maharashtra & Ratlam Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: GM - Regional Finance & Accounts and Site Director Position Type: Full time Qualification : CA / ICWA / MBA – Finance Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual), ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Ensure the organization adheres to financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards. Manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared. 2. Financial Control & Process Improvement: Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy. Continuously improve accounting processes, including the automation and streamlining of financial reporting and reconciliation procedures. Ensure timely and accurate financial close and reporting cycles. 3. Budgeting & Financial Planning: Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting and financial analysis. Develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with organizational goals. Monitor and manage the company’s financial performance, identifying and addressing potential issues related to cash flow, revenue, and cost management. 4. Team Leadership & Development:



Manage and mentor the finance team, setting clear performance expectations and fostering professional development. Provide leadership in a high-performance culture, ensuring the team’s effectiveness and engagement. Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of finance professionals, ensuring strong bench strength. 5. Cash Flow Management & Treasury: Oversee cash flow management and ensure the business has adequate liquidity to meet operational needs. Monitor working capital, capital expenditures, and financing needs, making recommendations to improve financial health. 6. Financial Analysis & Strategic Support: Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support decision-making, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and financial projections. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals align with business objectives. Support senior leadership with insights and advice on financial strategy, growth, and operational improvements. 7. Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Lead efforts in insurance management, compliance risk, and other financial risks. Ensure effective risk assessment and management frameworks are in place to protect the organization’s assets. 8. Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present financial reports and updates to senior management, the board of directors, and other stakeholders. Communicate financial performance, key metrics, and strategic recommendations to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.
