Position: Graphic Designer – AI & Python

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technology-oriented Graphic Designer who can combine strong visual design skills with AI tools and basic Python automation to create high-quality educational, digital, social media, and marketing content.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with traditional graphic design software as well as modern Generative AI tools and should have an interest in using Python to automate repetitive creative-production tasks.

Key ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design

- Create graphics, posters, banners, social media creatives, presentations, worksheets, thumbnails, advertisements, and educational visual content.
- Design engaging visual assets for ADEM/MMH's digital and educational programs.
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative materials.
- Create illustrations, icons, infographics, diagrams, and visual learning assets.
- Adapt designs into multiple formats and sizes for different platforms.

AI-Assisted Design

- Use AI tools to generate and enhance images, illustrations, backgrounds, concepts, and creative assets.
- Use AI for ideation, visual exploration, image enhancement, background removal, and creative variations.
- Develop effective prompts for image-generation and design tools.
- Explore current AI tools that can improve creative quality and production speed.
- Assist in AI-based video and animation asset creation when required.





Python & Automation

- Use basic Python scripting to automate repetitive design and production tasks.
- Automate image resizing, cropping, format conversion, file naming, compression, and batch processing.
- Develop simple scripts for handling large volumes of creative assets.
- Use Python libraries/tools where applicable for image manipulation and workflow automation.
- Work with the technology/content team to identify opportunities for creative-process automation.

Tools & TechnologiesDesign Tools

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Canva
- Figma or similar design tools

AI Tools

Knowledge of tools such as:

- ChatGPT
- Midjourney
- Adobe Firefly
- DALL·E / AI image-generation tools
- Runway
- Canva AI
- Other emerging Generative AI tools

Python

- Basic to intermediate Python knowledge
- Python scripting for automation
- Image-processing libraries such as Pillow
- Basic understanding of file handling, batch processing, and automation workflows

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, colour, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Good creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to convert concepts and requirements into visually appealing designs.
- Good knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.




- Practical experience using AI tools for creative production.
- Basic Python programming and automation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new AI and creative technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of professional graphic-design experience.
- Experience in EdTech, e-learning, animation, advertising, digital marketing, or media production will be an advantage.
- Candidates with a strong portfolio demonstrating AI-assisted design and automation projects will be preferred.
