About The Company:

Hindustan Hydraulics (HHPL) was incorporated in 1965 by our CMD- M.M.S Khosla, with the mission to cater to the growing Indian industrial sector's requirement for Sheet Metal Solutions, matching the best in the international markets. The portfolio included hydraulic presses of different sizes and application such as forming presses, deep draw presses, forging presses, scrap bailing presses etc. There were numerous international collaborations with world leaders like TOS, Czechoslovakia, for presses and HOESCH MFD, Germany, for re-railing equipment for Indian Railways.

In 1989 HHPL contracted a technical collaboration with M/s Darley b.v Holland to manufacture the latest CNC Hydraulic Press Brakes and NC Hydraulic Shearing Machines. In the 90's with the opening up of the Indian economy, we faced enormous competition from established international and domestic giants in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vendor Coordination & Component Development:
- Establish HHP2 components with vendors by providing necessary drawings and samples.

Job Work Management:

- Manage all job work materials (Auto Black, Zinc, Powder Coating, Chrome Plating, Pre-machining CNC, VMC machining).
- Ensure proper outward gate passes and timely receipt of material back to the factory after job work.
- On receipt, verify materials, mark as CTS, and ensure accurate inventory updates.

Procurement & Purchase Orders:

- Study data as per priority and prepare procurement details for bought-out materials for press brakes.
- Review and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, clarify points between vendors and HHPL team, and support purchase order generation.

Cross-Department Coordination:





- Coordinate with the Quality Department to provide inspection gauges to vendors ; ensure gauges are issued through purchase and return back to the company within time.
- Provide job work status and completion dates to the Planning Department.
- Coordinate with the Design Department to resolve drawing-related issues and share clarifications with vendors.
- Work closely with the Production team to finalize vendorized components (job work + bought-out items).

Costing & Negotiation:

- Calculate in-house cost of components, discuss with seniors (Mr. Subhash & Mr. Suras), and compare with vendor quotations.
- Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing without compromising on quality.

Quality & Issue Resolution:

- If any quality issues arise, arrange meetings between vendor and Quality Head to identify root cause.
- Ensure rectifications are carried out promptly to avoid delays in assembly.

Compliance & Instructions:

- Follow general instructions provided by Purchase Head and Plant Head.
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance for all purchase and job work activities.
- Clarify drawings, highlight limitations/critical dimensions, and maintain effective communication with vendors.
- Periodically visit vendors for development purposes and resolve issues affecting delivery timelines.
