Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Costing: Prepare and maintain standard costs for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods; develop and update Bills of Materials (BOM) and routing/costing sheets for all product lines.

Product Profitability: Prepare product-wise and plant-wise cost sheets and profitability statements; support pricing decisions with accurate cost data.
Inventory Valuation: Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory; conduct periodic physical verification and reconciliation of stock with book records.
Cost Audit & Compliance: Coordinate and support the annual cost audit; maintain cost records in line with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Companies (Cost Records and Audit) Rules; liaise with cost auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Variance Analysis: Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances (purchase price variance, usage variance, efficiency variance, and rate variance); investigate root causes with production and procurement teams and report on corrective actions.
Overhead Absorption:



Calculate and monitor factory overhead absorption rates, allocation of fixed and variable overheads across cost centers, and analyze under/over-absorption.
Budgeting Support: Assist FP&A;/Finance Head in preparation of manufacturing cost budgets, cost center budgets, and periodic forecasts.
Yield & Wastage Analysis: Track material yield, process losses, and wastage against norms; recommend cost control measures in coordination with plant operations.
Capex & New Product Costing: Prepare cost estimates for current products, process changes, or capex proposals, including cost-benefit analysis.
ERP & Systems: Maintain costing modules in the ERP system (SAP), ensure master data accuracy (BOMs, routings, cost centers), and support system-driven cost reporting.
Statutory & Internal Reporting: Support statutory audit, internal audit, and management reporting requirements related to cost and inventory.

Pay: ₹90,878.72 - ₹95,989.73 per month
