About the Role

We are looking for a Fundraising Associate (Trainee) to support our fundraising, investor research, and investor relations activities.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious about startups, venture capital, investors, and business strategy, and enjoys researching companies, analyzing opportunities, and building professional networks.

You will work closely with founders and the fundraising team, gaining practical exposure to the startup and investment ecosystem.

Key ResponsibilitiesInvestor Research & Networking

- Research VCs, angel investors, family offices, accelerators, and strategic investors.
- Analyze investor thesis, ticket sizes, preferred sectors, geographies, portfolios, and key decision-makers.
- Identify relevant investors and build targeted investor databases.
- Support LinkedIn and online research to identify potential investor connections.

Fundraising Support

- Maintain investor pipelines and CRM records.
- Support investor outreach, follow-ups, and meeting coordination.
- Track fundraising activities, conversations, and opportunities.
- Prepare investor-specific research and meeting briefs.

Startup & Market Research

- Research startups, competitors, industries, markets, and emerging trends.
- Analyze business models, market opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
- Research venture studio and portfolio companies.
- Prepare reports and insights to support fundraising activities.

Investor Materials

- Support preparation of pitch decks, investor FAQs, and meeting briefs.
- Assist with market research and competitive analysis.
- Support basic financial and business-model analysis.
- Prepare relevant data and insights for investor discussions.





Founder Support

- Help founders prepare for investor meetings.
- Maintain meeting notes, action items, and investor questions.
- Track investor follow-ups and ensure timely updates.
- Support continuous improvement of the fundraising pipeline.

Requirements

- 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
- MBA / BBA / Finance / Economics / Business / Entrepreneurship / Commerce preferred.
- Engineering graduates with a strong interest in business and startups are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, Google Search, Excel/Google Sheets, and online research tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize information.
- Proactive, curious, and willing to learn.
- Genuine interest in startups, fundraising, venture capital, and business strategy.
