Job Summary

The EHS Manager / Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Environmental, Health & Safety standards across commercial interior fit-out and project sites. The role will ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and project-specific safety standards. The position will involve conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, audits, training programs, incident investigations, and coordinating with project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain a safe working workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards across project sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, training sessions, and awareness programs.
- Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe working practices.
- Monitor work-at-height, electrical, fire, housekeeping, lifting, and other site safety activities.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, contractors, and subcontractors regarding EHS requirements.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain EHS records, inspection reports,



training records, incident reports, and statutory documentation.
- Conduct emergency preparedness activities and safety drills.
- Track safety observations, non-conformities, and corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
- Prepare regular EHS MIS reports and update management on safety performance.
- Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
- Ensure proper use, availability, and maintenance of safety equipment and PPE.
- Support the project team in implementing corrective and preventive safety measures.
- Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

EHS Manager

Education

- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- ADIS / Diploma in Industrial Safety is mandatory/preferred.
- NEBOSH / IOSH or other relevant EHS certifications will be an advantage.

Experience

- 10+ years of relevant EHS / Safety experience.
- Strong experience in commercial construction and interior fit-out projects.
- Experience managing EHS activities across multiple project sites.
- Experience managing safety teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, audits, risk assessments, and incident management.





EHS Officer

Education

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Diploma in Industrial Safety / ADIS preferred.
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification will be an advantage.

Experience

- 5+ years of relevant EHS / Safety experience.
- Experience in commercial construction and interior fit-out projects preferred.
- Hands-on experience in site inspections, safety documentation, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and EHS compliance.
- Experience coordinating with contractors and site teams.
