Senior Legal Associate for Capital Markets manages public offerings, regulatory compliance, and transaction documentation for law firms or financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Transaction Execution: Lead the drafting and filing of offer documents like Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Qualified Institutional Placements (QIPs), rights issues, and preferential allotments.
- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive legal, financial, and secretarial due diligence by reviewing material contracts and past litigations.
- Regulatory Liaison: Coordinate with regulators like SEBI, stock exchanges (NSE/BSE), merchant bankers, and auditors.
- Advisory: Advise listed companies and financial intermediaries on continuous disclosure obligations and corporate governance.
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from a recognized law school. [1]
- Experience: Typically 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in the capital markets practice of a top-tier law firm or corporate legal team. [1, 2]
