Site Engineer – Civil

The Building Contractor (TBC) is looking for a Site Engineer – Civil to manage and coordinate day-to-day construction activities at residential and commercial project sites.

The candidate should ensure that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, schedules and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at assigned project sites.
- Execute work according to approved architectural, structural and working drawings.
- Plan daily and upcoming site activities, labour and material requirements.
- Coordinate workers, subcontractors, vendors and other site teams.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment and quality of executed work.
- Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing and other construction activities.
- Prepare material requirements and raise requisitions in advance.
- Monitor material usage and help control wastage.
- Maintain daily site records, progress updates and photographs.
- Report site progress, delays, technical issues and requirements to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with the Design and Project teams for drawing clarifications and revisions.
- Ensure proper safety, housekeeping and work discipline at site.




- Attend inspections and support quality-control activities.
- Verify completed quantities and assist in subcontractor/work measurements when required.
- Maintain proper communication and updates with the internal project team.

Qualification

B.Tech / B.E / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Preferred Skills

- Good practical knowledge of residential construction.
- Ability to read architectural, structural and working drawings.
- Good understanding of construction sequence and site execution.
- Knowledge of quantity measurement and basic estimation.
- Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage labour and subcontractors effectively.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and construction documentation.
- Positive communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel between project sites when required.

Experience

1–3 years of site execution experience preferred.

Freshers with good practical knowledge, strong technical understanding and willingness to learn may also be considered.
