- ITI / Diploma in Machinist, Tool & Die Making, or Mechanical Trade.
- Relevant experience in EDM / Wire Cut operation preferred.
Key Skills
- Engineering drawing reading.
- Knowledge of EDM & Wire Cut machine operation.
- Basic 2D programming and manual parameter setting.
- Knowledge of Vernier, Height Gauge, Micrometer, etc.
- Understanding of accuracy, tolerance, and machine least count.
- Basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Reporting To
HOD – Tool Room
Key Responsibilities
- Operate EDM and Wire Cut machines as per drawing and job requirements.
- Set jobs, electrodes, programs, and machine parameters accurately.
- Select appropriate cutting wire and electrodes as required.
- Check finished jobs using measuring instruments and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain machine, tools, and work area as per 5S and hygiene standards.
- Follow all health and safety requirements.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
