About the Role

Jrew Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a PPC Engineer to manage production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and shop-floor execution. The ideal candidate will ensure timely production, optimum utilization of resources, and smooth coordination between production, stores, purchase, quality, and dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Monitor production progress against planned schedules and identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
- Prepare and maintain production schedules, work orders, and planning reports.
- Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with Stores/Purchase to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Track WIP, finished goods, inventory levels, and material consumption.
- Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely completion as per committed delivery dates.
- Analyse production capacity, manpower, machine availability, and process constraints.
- Maintain accurate PPC records and prepare MIS reports for management.
- Identify production variances and support corrective actions to improve productivity and delivery performance.




- Coordinate with the shop floor to ensure adherence to production priorities.
- Support inventory control and maintain optimum stock levels.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely updating of ERP/MRP systems.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for reducing lead time, improving resource utilization, and minimizing production losses.

Requirements

- Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in PPC/Production Planning, preferably in a manufacturing/heavy engineering industry.
- Good understanding of production processes, material planning, inventory control, and production scheduling.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel; experience with ERP/MRP software will be an advantage.
- Good analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Solid follow-up skills and attention to detail.
