A Kitchen Assistant/ cook plays a vital role in supporting chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations. This entry-level position focuses on food preparation, cleanliness, and assisting with basic cooking tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients (washing, chopping, peeling, portioning).
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cooking tools promptly.
- Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
- Assist chefs with simple cooking tasks when required.
- Dispose of waste and follow hygiene and safety standards.
- Restock ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
- Prior kitchen experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Work Workplace

- Busy kitchen setting (restaurant, hotel, catering service).
- Requires flexibility with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
