Senior Performance Test Engineer | Remote | 5+ Years

We are hiring an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in performance testing, engineering, monitoring, and CI/CD integration.

Job Title: Senior Performance Test Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Remote
Initial Requirement: 1 Week Onsite in Nashik
Budget: ₹70 LPM -80LPM+ GST

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute end-to-end performance testing strategies, benchmarks, baselines, and SLA-driven performance goals.
- Design and execute load, stress, endurance/soak, spike, and scalability testing.
- Develop reusable performance test scripts for web applications, REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous systems.
- Work extensively with JMeter and/or k6. Exposure to LoadRunner is an advantage.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and support shift-left performance engineering.
- Analyze application, database, and infrastructure metrics to identify latency, throughput, memory, CPU, thread, and scalability bottlenecks.
- Use Grafana, Prometheus, or similar observability tools for performance monitoring and analysis.
- Collaborate with Architects, Developers, and DevOps teams on capacity planning, query/code optimization, and environment sizing.




- Use AI tools and assistants for script generation, log analysis, research, test-data modeling, and productivity improvement.
- Mentor junior performance engineers and contribute to performance engineering best practices.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on Performance Testing / Performance Engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in JMeter and/or k6.
- Robust knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and REST API performance testing.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps environments.
- Good understanding of microservices and client-server architectures.
- Strong understanding of database performance concepts including indexes, query execution plans, and locks.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana / Prometheus or similar monitoring tools.
- Experience integrating performance tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong root-cause analysis and performance troubleshooting skills.
- Practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day engineering workflows.
