Job purpose

Acuity Analytics is seeking an experienced Data Cloud & MuleSoft Engineer to support enterprisescale Salesforce transformation programs involving data migration, system integration, and customer data consolidation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing integrations between Salesforce, DealCloud, and other enterprise applications using MuleSoft. The role will also support Salesforce Data Cloud initiatives involving customer data unification, identity resolution, segmentation, and analytics enablement.

This position requires strong hands-on experience in API-led connectivity, ETL/migration activities, data mapping, transformation logic, and integration architecture. The engineer will work closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce architects, data teams, and external clients to ensure successful migration and integration outcomes.

The role is particularly suited for candidates who have delivered CRM migration programs and are comfortable working across data, middleware, and Salesforce ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

Data Migration & Data Cloud

- Design and execute data migration strategies from legacy platforms such as DealCloud, CRM systems,

databases, and spreadsheets into Salesforce.

- Support customer data consolidation initiatives using Salesforce Data Cloud.

- Build and manage data ingestion pipelines from multiple internal and external systems.

- Configure Data Streams, Data Model Objects (DMOs), Calculated Insights, and Identity Resolution rules.

- Perform data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, and transformation activities.

- Define source-to-target mappings and data reconciliation processes.

- Support business stakeholders in validating migrated data and ensuring data quality.

MuleSoft Integration

- Design, develop, and deploy MuleSoft APIs and integrations following API-led connectivity principles.

- Build System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs.

- Develop integrations between Salesforce, DealCloud, Snowflake, Azure services,



document repositories, and

third-party applications.

- Create reusable integration frameworks and accelerators.

- Implement real-time, batch, and event-driven integrations.

- Manage error handling, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.

Architecture & Solutioning

- Participate in solution design workshops and requirement gathering sessions.

- Translate business requirements into scalable integration and data solutions.

- Collaborate with Salesforce Solution Architects and Technical Architects.

- Evaluate integration patterns and recommend best-fit approaches.

- Estimate effort, identify dependencies, and support project planning activities.

Governance & Delivery

- Follow integration governance standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

- Prepare technical design documents, mapping documents, and deployment plans.

- Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production deployment activities.

- Troubleshoot integration failures and data quality issues.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership where required.

Key competencies

- Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

- Hands-on experience with API development using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and RAML.

- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications.

- Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud architecture and capabilities.

- Strong understanding of ETL, ELT, and data migration methodologies.

- Experience with SQL and data modeling concepts.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

- Understanding of CI/CD, Git, DevOps, and deployment automation.
