Job Description – TGT Science Teacher (Chemistry and Physics)

Position: Trained Graduate Teacher – Science
Location: Podar International School – Cakan Rohkal (Regular Positions)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver Science lessons (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Conduct experiments, lab activities, and project-based learning to enhance understanding.
- Assess, record, and report students’ academic performance and progress.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assignments in line with academic requirements.
- Communicate with parents and provide feedback on student progress.
- Collaborate with coordinators and colleagues to ensure academic excellence.
- Participate in school events,



training programs, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology).
- B.Ed. (mandatory).
- 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience (preferred).
- Strong subject knowledge and positive communication skills in English.
- Ability to engage students using innovative teaching techniques.
