Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Executive – Mechanical to manage quality inspection and control activities in a manufacturing/engineering environment. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of experience in mechanical quality assurance or quality control.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical components and finished products.
- Inspect products as per drawings, specifications, standards, and approved samples.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, check sheets, and NCRs.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and other quality tools.
- Support CAPA implementation and monitor effectiveness.
- Assist in process and product audits and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and defect trends and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of measuring instruments.
- Support implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke,



and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare quality MIS and performance reports for management.

Requirements

- Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Mechanical Quality / QA / QC in a manufacturing or engineering company.
- Robust knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T;, inspection methods, and measurement techniques.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, SPC, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, and MSA is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and internal quality audits is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
