About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Silver Jewellery Merchandiser to join our growing jewellery brand. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in silver jewellery sourcing, buying, supplier management, product development, merchandising, and collection planning.

The candidate should be willing to travel across India to identify new suppliers, attend jewellery exhibitions, and source unique and trend-driven collections.

Key Responsibilities

Product Sourcing & Procurement

- Source high-quality silver jewellery, silver articles, gift items, and lifestyle products from manufacturers across India.
- Identify and develop relationships with current suppliers and manufacturers.
- Negotiate pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.
- Procure exclusive, innovative, and trend-driven collections.

Merchandising & Collection Development

- Research jewellery market trends and customer preferences.
- Plan seasonal, festive, and occasion-based silver jewellery collections.
- Identify trending and fast-moving products.
- Maintain the right product mix based on customer demand and sales performance.
- Coordinate with design, marketing, and sales teams for product launches.

Supplier & Vendor Management

- Visit supplier factories and manufacturing units.
- Evaluate supplier quality, production capabilities, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery.
- Travel across India for jewellery exhibitions, trade fairs, sourcing events, and supplier visits.
- Identify new manufacturers, artisans, designs,



and market trends.
- Represent the company during supplier meetings and exhibitions.
- Explore new sourcing opportunities and product categories.

Inventory & Product Planning

- Coordinate with purchase and inventory teams.
- Forecast product demand and plan procurement.
- Maintain healthy stock levels and minimize slow-moving inventory.
- Monitor product performance and maintain accurate vendor/product records.

Requirements

- 3–8 years of experience in Silver Jewellery Merchandising, Buying, Sourcing, or Procurement.
- Strong knowledge about all purity in silver jewellery and silver articles.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor negotiation, and procurement.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Good understanding of jewellery trends, pricing, and customer demand.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems is preferred.
