Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Production Supervisor with hands-on experience in Furniture Manufacturing Shopfloor Operations. The candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities, managing operators and workers, achieving daily targets, maintaining quality, and ensuring smooth shopfloor operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities on the furniture manufacturing shopfloor.

Allocate jobs and manpower as per production requirements.

Ensure achievement of daily production targets.

Monitor operators, workers, and production activities throughout the shift.

Ensure work is carried out according to production drawings and instructions.

Coordinate with Production Engineer, PPC, Quality, Stores, and other departments.

Monitor production quality and minimize rejection and rework.

Ensure proper use of raw materials, tools, and machines.

Supervise processes such as cutting, CNC, edge banding, drilling, assembly, fabrication, finishing, and packing.

Identify machine, manpower, material,



and process-related issues and escalate them to the concerned department.

Maintain shopfloor discipline and housekeeping.

Ensure workers follow safety instructions and use required PPE.

Maintain daily production records and submit shift/production reports.

Support production planning and ensure smooth execution of the plan.

Train and guide operators and helpers on work processes and quality requirements.

Follow 5S and maintain proper workplace organization.

Monitor wastage and support initiatives for productivity improvement.

Required Skills

Robust hands-on experience in Furniture Manufacturing Shopfloor.

Good knowledge of furniture production processes.

Ability to understand production drawings.

Good manpower handling and team supervision skills.

Knowledge of CNC and woodworking machinery will be preferred.

Strong understanding of quality and production targets.

Positive communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under production pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Furniture Technology, or related field preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
