As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align software capabilities with business requirements is a key aspect, along with continuous refinement and enhancement of existing solutions to meet evolving organizational needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to coding standards within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of junior team members.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any challenges to maintain delivery timelines.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and optimizing custom code for high-performance applications within SAP HANA environments.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and ability to work with complex data models.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and continuous integration practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently while maintaining code quality.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
