Day Care Teacher

Job Summary:
We are looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Day Care Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The teacher will be responsible for supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, supporting their learning and development, and maintaining effective communication with parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and care for children throughout the day.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate learning, creative, and play activities.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Teach basic concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, letters, rhymes, and general awareness.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Assist children with meals, hygiene, and personal care when required.
- Observe children's behavior, progress, and individual needs.
- Encourage positive behavior, sharing, teamwork, and valuable manners.




- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's activities and development.
- Maintain attendance, daily activity records, and other required documentation.
- Follow all daycare safety, health, and child-protection policies.
- Work cooperatively with other teachers and daycare staff.

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a caring attitude.
- Ability to manage and engage a group of children effectively.
- Basic knowledge of child safety, hygiene, and first aid is preferred.
