Job Summary:
We are looking for a Purchase Assistant to support our Purchase Department in day-to-day procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in engineering/manufacturing industry and good knowledge of vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase orders and material follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved requirements and quotations.
- Collect quotations from vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Coordinate with vendors for price, delivery, payment terms and material availability.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details and PO status.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality and Accounts departments.
- Check quotations, quantities, rates and basic purchase terms before preparing PO.
- Assist in identifying and developing current vendors.
- Maintain proper documentation of purchase transactions.
- Handle routine purchase-related activities and follow-ups.

Required Skills:

- Basic knowledge of Purchase & Procurement process
- Knowledge of Purchase Order (PO) preparation




- Vendor negotiation and coordination skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Good communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to compare quotations and rates
- Basic understanding of engineering/manufacturing materials is preferred

Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Com / Any Graduate

Experience:
1–3 years in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in an Engineering or Manufacturing Company.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹32,000 per month
Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Weekly Off: Friday

Preferred Candidate:
Candidates with experience in engineering manufacturing, pumps, mechanical components, castings, forgings, machining components, bearings, fasteners, electrical items, etc. will be preferred.
