Sales Engineer – Transformer Sales

Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | Work from Office + Field Visits
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹60,000 per month + Performance Incentives

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with strong experience in Transformer Sales and Marketing. The candidate will be responsible for generating current business, developing customer relationships, conducting field visits, preparing quotations, and achieving sales targets.

Transformer industry sales experience is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business through field visits, client meetings, and market activities.
- Promote and sell Transformers and related transformer solutions.
- Identify potential customers and develop new business opportunities.
- Meet industrial customers, contractors, consultants, dealers, and other potential clients.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable transformer solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and explain technical features and benefits.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing with customers.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders, and payments.
- Coordinate with technical, production, and internal teams for order execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain customer records, sales reports, and follow-up activities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Required Industry Experience

Transformer industry experience is mandatory.

Candidates should have experience in sales/marketing of products such as:





- Power Transformers
- Distribution Transformers
- Dry Type Transformers
- Oil Filled Transformers
- Electrical Transformers
- Transformer-related products and solutions

Experience in APFC Panels, PCC/MCC Panels, HT/LT Panels, Switchgear, VFD, PLC, or other electrical products will be an added advantage but is not a substitute for Transformer sales experience.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in Transformer Sales / Marketing / Business Development.
- Transformer industry experience is mandatory.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Strong B2B sales and business development skills.
- Good technical understanding of transformer products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and field visits.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
