Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Solution Architect to lead the organization's technical strategy, solution architecture, and engineering best practices. This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions while providing technical leadership across multiple products, projects, and engineering teams.

The Principal Solution Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, clients, product teams, engineering managers, and executive leadership to define technology roadmaps, establish architectural standards, drive AI adoption, and ensure successful technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

- Define and govern enterprise architecture standards and technology strategies.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures.
- Lead architecture for enterprise-grade web, mobile, cloud, and API-driven applications.
- Establish architecture principles, design patterns, and engineering standards across all products.
- Review solution designs and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
- Lead architectural decision-making for strategic initiatives.

Software Engineering

- Provide deep technical expertise in .NET Core and enterprise application development.
- Guide teams in building Microservices, Event-Driven, and Distributed Systems.
- Design RESTful APIs and integration frameworks.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance requirements.
- Define standards for secure coding, authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and observability.
- Review complex technical implementations and resolve critical engineering challenges.

AI & Automation Leadership

- Define the organization's AI strategy and roadmap.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation across products and internal operations.
- Lead the design and implementation of AI-powered business solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and intelligent automation where appropriate.
- Establish AI development standards, governance, and security practices.
- Train, mentor, and enable engineering teams in AI technologies and AI-assisted software development.




- Drive innovation through AI proof-of-concepts and production-ready implementations.

Technical Delivery

- Provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent projects.
- Ensure architectural consistency and technical quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support project planning, technical estimation, risk identification, and solution planning.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Project Managers to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Resolve technical blockers and delivery risks.
- Ensure solutions are delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Participate in solution discovery sessions and technical workshops.
- Present solution architectures and technical proposals to clients.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership during pre-sales and project execution.
- Handle technical escalations and drive resolution of complex client issues.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Engineering Excellence

- Define and maintain coding standards and engineering best practices.
- Establish architecture review and technical governance processes.
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering teams.
- Promote reusable frameworks, shared components, and platform engineering practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and industry standards.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

- Mentor Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and Senior Engineers.
- Conduct architecture reviews and technical coaching sessions.
- Develop technical capability across engineering teams.
- Support recruitment and technical interviews for senior engineering positions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.

Required Technical Skills

- Expert knowledge of .NET Core and C#.
- Robust experience with enterprise application architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of Microservices Architecture.




- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and Messaging Systems.
- REST API design and API Gateway implementation.
- Mobile application architecture.
- SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
- Distributed caching technologies.
- Cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP is a plus).
- Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an advantage.
- Relevant cloud or architecture certifications are preferred.

Experience

- 12–18+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture.
- Experience leading multiple enterprise-scale projects.
- Proven experience managing technical teams across multiple products.
- Solid client-facing consulting and solutioning experience.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kochi, Kerala (Kochi): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
