Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of materials required for our Civil Construction and Interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, quotation comparison, negotiation, purchase orders, material follow-up, and ensuring timely delivery of materials at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase civil and interior construction materials as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Store and Accounts teams for material requirements.
- Source and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, quality and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) as per approved requirements.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials at project sites.
- Ensure purchased materials meet required quality and specifications.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations, POs and invoices.
- Monitor material prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, wrong quantities, damaged materials or quality concerns.
- Coordinate with site teams regarding urgent and project-specific material requirements.
- Maintain good relationships with existing vendors and develop new vendor sources.





Preferred Material Knowledge

Candidate should preferably have knowledge of procurement of materials such as:

- Cement, sand, aggregate, bricks/blocks and other civil materials
- Tiles, marble, granite and flooring materials
- Gypsum, gypsum board and false ceiling materials
- Plywood, MDF, laminates and wooden materials
- Hardware, fittings and accessories
- Paint, putty and related finishing materials
- Electrical and plumbing materials
- Glass, aluminum and other interior-related materials
- Other project-specific civil and interior materials

Required Skills

- Positive negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of local suppliers and construction/interior material market
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation
- Ability to compare quotations and control procurement costs
- Good follow-up and problem-solving ability
- Ability to handle multiple project requirements simultaneously

Experience & Qualification

- Experience: 2–5 years in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in Civil Construction, Interior or commercial projects.
- Qualification: Graduate/Diploma preferred.
- Candidates with strong experience in Civil & Interior material procurement will be preferred.

Employment Type: Full Time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
