Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Manager, Software Engineering to build, lead, and rapidly scale a high-performing engineering organization in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in enterprise SaaS, backend systems, distributed architectures, cybersecurity, and Identity & Access Management (IAM), combined with a proven track record of hiring and leading high-performance engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete software development lifecycle in an Agile environment with a strong focus on quality, scalability, performance, and supportability.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade products from concept to production.
- Research and implement advanced cybersecurity mechanisms.
- Drive adoption of modern technologies, tools, and engineering practices.
- Build a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to define product roadmaps and release schedules.
- Hire, mentor, develop, and scale high-performing engineering teams.
- Develop future engineering leaders and establish strong leadership practices.
- Partner with HR and senior leadership on India site-wide initiatives.
- Drive AI-first engineering practices to improve developer productivity, software quality, and innovation.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience hiring, leading, and scaling engineering teams.




- Proven experience managing teams of 10+ engineers with the ability to scale further.
- Strong expertise in backend systems and distributed architectures.
- Experience building enterprise-scale SaaS products, preferably in IAM.
- Strong software architecture, design, and development experience.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of software security, multi-tenancy, scalability, and high availability.
- AI-forward engineering mindset with experience adopting AI tools and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with scalable web solutions and microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS, serverless technologies, and modern cloud architectures.
- Strong programming experience in one or more of Python, Go, Node.js, Ruby, Java/Spring Boot, C#/.NET Core, or C++.
- Experience with contemporary CI/CD and DevOps tools.
- Experience leading Scrum teams comprising developers and QA engineers.
- Experience driving continuous improvement and engineering productivity.
- Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced technology environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise in IAM architectures.
- Experience building and securing SAML 2.0 Identity/Service Providers and OAuth 2.0/OIDC Authorization Servers.

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in engineering leaders with strong technical depth and people-management expertise who have built secure, scalable SaaS platforms.

Candidates from Cybersecurity, IAM, Identity Security, Enterprise SaaS, Cloud Security, or Distributed Systems backgrounds are highly relevant.
