The Finance Manager oversees plant and corporate accounting operations, ensures internal financial controls are met, and provides data-driven insights to executive and factory teams
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Accounting & Inventory: Manage product costing, overhead absorption rates, cost variance analysis, inventory valuation, and cycle counts.
- Financial Reporting & Month-End: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, balance sheet finalization, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analyses tracking plant key performance indicators (KPIs) and margins.
- Compliance & Controls: Enforce internal financial controls (ICFR), manage statutory and internal audits, and ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and the Companies Act.
- Working Capital & Cash Flow: Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily cash flow requirements to support plant operations.
