Required Skills:

- A minimum of 4 years' progressive experience in enterprise data protection, backup, or cyber recovery
- A minimum of 6 years' progressive experience, including hands-on Rubrik delivery at enterprise scale
- Position-specific requirements: hands-on production experience with Rubrik Security Cloud and Rubrik CDM is mandatory. Rubrik Certified Systems Administrator or Rubrik Certified Architect is strongly preferred. Prior delivery experience in Indian banking or regulated financial services, and familiarity with RBI cyber resilience and business continuity expectations, is highly desirable. Candidate must be Mumbai-based or willing to relocate, and comfortable operating full time from the client premises.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Rubrik Security Cloud and Rubrik CDM, including SLA domains, archival tiering, replication, NAS Direct Archive, and Rubrik Backup Service.
- Practical experience designing and operating isolated or air-gapped recovery environments, including clean room recovery and forensic validation workflows.
- Strong working knowledge of the workloads being protected: VMware, physical and virtual servers, NAS, Oracle and SQL databases, and containerised platforms.
- Understanding of ransomware attack paths, data exfiltration and encryption behaviours, and how recovery architecture is designed to defeat them.
- Familiarity with regulatory drivers for cyber resilience in Indian financial services, including RBI expectations on IT governance, business continuity, and recoverability.
- Ability to size, model, and defend large capacity estimates in front of client infrastructure and procurement stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management and to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to generate creative solutions to difficult or ambiguous problems and to work well in groups under deadline pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio for design documentation and client reporting.

The Solution Consultant - Cyber Resilience (Rubrik) is a client-dedicated technical consultant responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing isolated recovery and cyber resilience capability on the Rubrik platform. The role takes a strategic position within the client engagement, leading technical analysis, developing recovery architectures, and advising the client on data resilience, immutability, and recovery assurance.

This position is based full time at the client office in Mumbai. The consultant will be the primary technical point of contact for the client on all Rubrik design, sizing, build, and recovery testing activity.

Job Responsibilities:

- Leads the technical design and build of Rubrik-based isolated recovery and cyber resilience solutions, covering immutability, air-gap, retention, and recovery SLA domains.
- Owns capacity planning and sizing validation for large-scale environments, including reconciliation of vendor sizing outputs against actual client data profiles and growth assumptions.
- Conducts application onboarding discovery for in-scope workloads, defining protection policies, SLA domains, recovery point and recovery time objectives with application and infrastructure owners.
- Designs and executes cyber recovery testing, including clean room recovery, forensic validation, and documented recovery runbooks the client can operate independently.
- Configures and tunes Rubrik anomaly detection, threat hunting, threat monitoring, and sensitive data discovery, and translates findings into actionable client recommendations.
- Produces High Level Design, Low Level Design, build documentation, test plans, and as-built artefacts to WWT delivery standards.
- Ensures delivery milestones are established and tracked, and delivery progress is forecasted and communicated to the customer, team, and stakeholders.
- Communicates and escalates deviations in scope or timeline appropriately and ensures all contract deliverables are met within the timelines specified in the Statement of Work.
- Ensures project risks are identified, tracked, and communicated with the customer on a regular basis, implementing mitigation strategies where possible.
- Serves as a liaison between the delivery team and support teams, coordinates dependencies across multi-team engagements, and removes roadblocks for the team as needed.
- Supports the practice on Rubrik-related pre-sales activity, including scoping, effort estimation, bill of materials validation, and technical response content.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to the client, providing expert guidance on cyber resilience trends, technologies, and regulatory expectations.
