Automation QA Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join a collaborative technology team. The role involves working closely with QA specialists, software developers, architects, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality applications through robust testing and automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze application logs, system events, and monitoring data to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes.
- Design and develop test scenarios that replicate real-world production behaviors and workflows.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using diagnostic and debugging tools.
- Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, and documentation aligned with established QA processes and methodologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing standards.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong expertise in test automation framework design, test strategy planning (STP), and test design documentation (STD).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Azure DevOps.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.




- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and capable of adapting to new technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Positive understanding of business requirements and customer-focused delivery.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with PyTest.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and platforms.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, including query writing and database setup.
- Familiarity with Retail Banking domain concepts and processes.
