We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing embedded, web-based and UI-based applications, with a robust background in electronics, virtual machines, Linux shell scripting or any scripting, API testing, and Automation knowledge Additionally, the candidate should be willing to perform manual testing when project demands arise.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for embedded, web-based and UI-based applications.
- Perform manual testing as required to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Set up and manage virtual machines for testing environments.
- Utilize scripting to automate tasks and manage test environments.
- Basic network knowledge to handle network tasks related to environment.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with software developers and other team members to understand system requirements and develop effective test plans.
