ABOUT THE ROLE

REACHIQ is looking for a creative, experienced and detail-oriented Senior Video Editor to work on a dedicated account for a US-based video and photo editing company.

The selected candidate will work as a dedicated creative resource from the REACHIQ office in Pala and will be responsible for producing high-quality video content according to the client's creative standards, briefs and timelines.

This is an opportunity to work with an international creative team and projects serving the US market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESVideo Editing

- Edit professional video content according to client briefs and creative direction.
- Create polished and engaging videos suitable for digital platforms and commercial use.
- Handle multiple video formats, durations and content styles.
- Perform cutting, sequencing, transitions, pacing, colour correction and audio balancing.
- Add titles, captions, graphics, effects and other required elements.
- Ensure consistency in visual style, branding and overall quality.

Creative Post-Production

- Review raw footage and identify the best shots and sequences.
- Organize and manage project files efficiently.
- Synchronize audio and video.
- Perform basic colour grading and audio enhancement.
- Create revisions based on client feedback.
- Maintain professional standards throughout the post-production process.

Client & Project Coordination

- Understand project briefs and translate them into finished videos.
- Follow client-specific editing guidelines and workflows.
- Communicate clearly regarding project requirements and deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback accurately and efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.

REQUIRED SKILLSTechnical

- Strong knowledge of professional video editing workflows.
- Excellent command of Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent professional editing software.
- Working knowledge of After Effects is an advantage.




- Knowledge of Photoshop/Lightroom or other image-editing tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of colour correction, audio editing and basic motion graphics.
- Valuable understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions and export settings.

Creative

- Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing and composition.
- Ability to transform raw footage into engaging final content.
- Ability to understand and maintain a client's visual style.
- Creative problem-solving ability.

EXPERIENCE

Preferred: 5+ years of professional video-editing experience.

Candidates with strong portfolios and relevant practical experience may also be considered.

- Short-form videos

- Social media content
- Creative edits
- Colour grading
- Motion graphics, where applicable

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The selected candidate will work from the REACHIQ office in Pala, Kerala, as a dedicated resource for an international client.

The client will provide the required editing workstation/equipment and other necessary technical facilities, as agreed.

REACHIQ will provide the office workplace and operational support.

SELECTION PROCESS01 — Application & CV Screening

Review of professional experience and background.

02 — Portfolio Review

Evaluation of previous editing work/showreel.

03 — Technical Assessment

Short practical editing assignment.

04 — Interview

Technical and professional discussion.

05 — Client Evaluation

Shortlisted candidates may be evaluated/interviewed by the international client.

06 — Final Selection

Selected candidate will be onboarded to the dedicated REACHIQ client account. May need to work during US timings at times when you have to interact with client and get updates.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
