About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who can build and maintain automated test frameworks, improve test coverage, and ensure the quality and reliability of our web and software applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automation testing, API testing, regression testing and CI/CD, along with a good understanding of manual testing and software development processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Automate functional, regression, integration and end-to-end test cases.
- Perform API testing and validate REST APIs, request/response payloads and integrations.
- Create and maintain reusable automation components.
- Identify suitable test cases for automation and maintain automation coverage.
- Execute automated test suites and analyse failures.
- Perform manual testing where automation is not appropriate.
- Validate UI functionality across browsers and devices.
- Perform database validation using SQL.
- Log, track and manage defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Work closely with developers, product owners and QA team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide inputs from a QA perspective.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare test reports and communicate test results, risks and quality metrics.
- Continuously improve the QA automation framework and testing processes.

Technical Skills

Automation

- Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
- Java / Python / JavaScript / TypeScript




- Experience building automation frameworks using Page Object Model or similar patterns

API Testing

- Postman
- REST API testing
- JSON/XML validation
- API automation using suitable frameworks

Testing

- Functional testing
- Regression testing
- Integration testing
- End-to-end testing
- Smoke and sanity testing
- Cross-browser testing
- Database testing

Tools & Platforms

- Git / GitHub
- Jira
- CI/CD – Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar
- SQL
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

Good to Have

- Experience with K6 or JMeter for performance/load testing
- Experience testing web and mobile applications
- Cloud testing experience – AWS/Azure
- Experience with Docker
- Knowledge of test reporting tools
- Experience working with microservices and third-party integrations
- Understanding of security testing concepts

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.

Experience: 2–5 years of relevant QA/Automation experience.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
