Job Description – Production Supervisor (CNC Machining) Position: Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities 1. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting CNC machines, including Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) and CNC Turning Centers. 2. Supervise and manage shop floor manpower to ensure optimum productivity and discipline. 3. Coordinate with cross-functional departments such as Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Stores to ensure smooth production flow. 4. Monitor machine utilization, operator efficiency, and overall shift performance to achieve production targets. 5. Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 6. Ensure accurate production reporting and transaction accountability in the ERP system, including downtime monitoring and analysis. 7. Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to improve productivity, reduce cycle time, minimize waste, and enhance overall operational efficiency. 8.



Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and delivery commitments. 9. Support new product prove-out, process optimization, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. 10. Maintain 5S standards and promote a safe, clean, and organized workplace. Preferred Qualifications Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 5–8 years of experience in CNC machining operations, preferably in the aerospace or precision engineering industry. Good knowledge of ERP systems, production planning, and manufacturing KPIs. Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills. Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle production under tight delivery schedules.
