Store Helper – Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Store Helper to assist with day-to-day store activities, material handling, stock management, and maintaining proper records of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Store Keeper in daily store operations.
- Receive, unload, check, and arrange incoming materials.
- Issue materials to site and employees as per approved requirements.
- Maintain proper arrangement and cleanliness of the store.
- Assist in loading and unloading of HVAC/MEP materials.
- Support physical stock counting and stock verification.
- Check material quantity and condition during receipt.
- Help maintain proper storage of tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials.
- Ensure materials are properly labelled and stored.
- Assist in preparing material issue and receipt records.
- Report damaged, missing,



or excess materials to the Store Keeper.
- Support regular stock checking and inventory activities.
- Follow company safety rules and store procedures.
- Perform other store-related duties assigned by the Store Keeper or HOD.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of store and material handling activities.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Physically fit and capable of handling materials.
- Positive discipline and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock handling will be an advantage.

Qualification

- 10th / 12th Pass preferred.
- Freshers can also apply.

Preferred Experience

- 0–2 years of experience in a store, warehouse, HVAC, MEP, construction, or similar industry.
