Industry: Jute Textile Industry
Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering
Additional Qualification: Diploma in Industrial Safety / Safety Management preferred
Experience: Relevant experience in industrial construction, maintenance and civil works, preferably in textile/jute manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and execute civil construction, repair, renovation and maintenance activities within the jute textile plant.
- Monitor factory buildings, flooring, drainage, roads, foundations, sheds, structural works and other civil infrastructure.
- Prepare work estimates, material requirements and monitor contractors, labour and project schedules.
- Ensure quality of construction materials and workmanship as per approved specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Electrical and Safety departments for smooth execution of civil works.
- Identify structural defects and arrange timely corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards during all civil activities, including work at height, excavation, scaffolding and hot work.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain records of work progress, safety observations and maintenance activities.




- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices at construction and maintenance sites.
- Support statutory safety compliance, risk assessment and implementation of corrective actions.
- Manage civil materials, tools and equipment and control wastage.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update management on project status.

Preferred Profile: Candidates with experience in a jute/textile manufacturing plant and an additional Diploma in Industrial Safety will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
